Rainbow Sensory Ribbon Rings
The Sakura Tree will show you how to make an easy and super cool box with coloured sensory ribbons using wooden rings. I have done this activity with babies I have taken care of and they have absolutely loved it!. Let’s start!
Supplies:
If you can’t find this wooden rings, something similar to it works just as well. You can find a range of different wooden rings. Choose what you like the most!
Red and yellow and pink and green
Purple and orange and blue
I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.
Listen with your ears,
Listen with your eyes,
and sing everything you see,
Now you can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing along with me.
Skills achieved with this sensory ribbon rings activity:

I suggest the sensory ribbon rings activity for babies between 6 and 15 months old.
These sensory ribbons are also really good for toddlers from 15 months and up. They can either insert the rings on a wooden stacker or simply transfer them to another box or container. Another activity that they can do is recognize the colours and match them with other objects of the same colour, even using the Montessori pair of tablets 🛒
