Santa Claus Craft for Kids
Supplies:
– A glue stick
– A pair of scissors
– A paint brush
– A paper plate
– A sheet of red cardstock
– A red pom pom
– Some cotton balls
– A white sheet of paper
– A piece of Christmas ribbon
Instructions:
1) Cut out all the Santa Claus’ elements following the sample below. So cut out the paper plate to make the face, the red cardstock to make a triangle hat and a rectangular white piece of paper to make the brim’s hat.
2) Take the red hat and fold the top half so a triangle is formed. Use the glue stick to glue the triangle onto the rest of the cardstock sheet. Press firmly so the two parts stick together. Then, stick a cotton ball to the top of the triangle using the glue stick. Finally, glue the white rectangular piece to the bottom of the hat to make the brim. Your hat for Santa Claus is now ready!
3) Glue the Christmas hat to the top of the face.
4) Apply a lot of glue to the lower part of the plate to make Santa Claus’ beard. Apply the glue to the border, on the reverse side of the plate, so the cotton sticks better to it. Detach several pieces from the cotton balls. Start pressing them onto the area where you applied the glue. Stick small pieces of cotton to it, one piece at a time. You will soon see what a bushy beard your Santa Claus has!
5) Finally use the glue to attach the goggly eyes and the small red pom pom, which will be used to make the nose. Your Santa Claus is now ready! 🎅
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town ♩♫♪
Chorus:
You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I’m telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He’s making a list
And checking it twice
He’s gonna find out who’s naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you’re sleeping
He knows when you’re awake
He knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Repeat Chorus
He sees you when you’re sleeping
He knows when you’re awake
He knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Repeat Chorus
I hope you had fun making our Santa Claus!
Happy Christmas to all of you 🎄!
